Terms of Service — WonderTales

These Terms explain how families may use WonderTales. They are written for the public web beta and should be reviewed before a paid public launch.

Operator and contact

WonderTales is the service provider for this beta. The final legal operator name, registered address, and merchant-of-record details must be confirmed before external paid use. For support, privacy, safety, refund, cancellation, and data requests, contact support@wondertales.art.

Who may use WonderTales

WonderTales is for adults who create and supervise family accounts. By creating an account, you confirm that you are an adult parent, legal guardian, or authorised caregiver and that you can give consent for child-related data you add to the service.

Children do not create independent WonderTales accounts for this launch. If child self-use is enabled, it must happen inside a supervised child mode controlled by the adult account owner.

What the service does

WonderTales helps adults create personalised illustrated stories, narration, read-along content, characters, child profiles, and optional public or unlisted story pages. Some features use AI providers to generate text, images, audio, and safety checks.

AI output may contain mistakes, omissions, or unexpected wording. Adults should review stories before sharing them with a child or publishing them.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide accurate account and billing information;
• add child data, photos, drawings, and preferences only when you have the right to do so;
• review generated stories and images before showing or sharing them;
• use public sharing only for content you are comfortable making visible to others;
• avoid uploading unlawful, harmful, abusive, sexual, violent, hateful, or rights-infringing content;
• avoid trying to bypass quotas, payments, moderation, security, or access controls.

Child safety and consent

WonderTales processes child-related information only to provide the story experience selected by the adult account owner. The service asks for explicit adult consent before child data or child photos are submitted.

Do not use WonderTales as emergency, medical, therapeutic, educational, or legal advice. It is a creative storytelling service.

Public, unlisted, and private stories

Private stories are intended for the account owner and authorised family use.

Unlisted stories can be opened by anyone who has the share link. They are not intended for search indexing.

Public stories can appear on public story pages, discovery surfaces, share cards, and search engines after publication and moderation. Do not publish content that includes private child details, sensitive family information, or content you do not have permission to share.

You can unpublish a story from the app where the feature is available or by contacting support.

Subscriptions, bundles, cancellation, and refunds

Free and paid plans may limit monthly stories, audio, images, child profiles, voices, and other features. Bundles may add extra usage for a defined billing period or validity window.

Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel or manage billing through the billing portal where available. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund previous charges.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@wondertales.art with your account email and charge date. Refund eligibility may depend on the payment provider, merchant of record, applicable law, and whether the service was already used.

Account access and security

Keep your login credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you believe someone accessed your account without permission.

We may restrict or suspend access if needed to protect users, children, the service, payment systems, or legal compliance.

Intellectual property

WonderTales owns the service, software, design, brand, and underlying technology. You keep the rights you already have in content you upload. You give WonderTales permission to process uploaded and generated content as needed to provide, secure, moderate, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Generated content may be similar to content generated for other users because AI systems can produce similar outputs from similar prompts.

Availability and changes

WonderTales is in beta. Features, limits, prices, routes, providers, and availability may change. We may update these Terms and will update the date above when we do.

Data deletion

You may request account or child-data deletion by contacting support@wondertales.art. Some billing, security, audit, abuse-prevention, or legal records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

Disclaimers and liability

WonderTales is provided as-is during beta. We try to keep it safe and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free AI output, or that every generated story will meet every family preference.

To the extent allowed by law, WonderTales is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.
